In the middle of a bridge,

With both side promising just as much.

Different though they might be,

They attract all the same.

One choice is as good as the other.

Which side should I take?

I want them both

But I know a choice I must make

To give up one 

To gain another

I cannot have both

Each one is as good as the other

which path shall I take?

Becareful of what you wish for

because it might just come true
but you might not like what you have wished...


so there's the dreadful feeling that heart sinks to the bottom
(of where i dunno, but so the expression goes)
 and it is what you wished for.

except that it isn't what you expected..
meaning that what you think and what happens in real life can have different consequences
its like the case of sailing a boat.

Naively thinking that the wind will blow the sails in the right direction
what happens insteads is...
the boat's there,
the wind blows,
but not in the direction you want.
it's sorta what you wished for.
but then again its not.

so, becareful.
you might just regret it when it comes true.

Pictures and Memories

Been looking through pictures lately..

to see how the past has been
what choices we had made
and what we choose to do with it

to be happy or otherwise.


at the same time,
we find so much to be thankful about by looking at those pictures.
we see people that'll always be there for us no matter what happens.
we see those that have been great company
we see those that we don't remember any much more
we see those that have changed our lives for better and for worse.

most importantly,

all those have made us who we are today.

you condemn  me when i do it
but it's fine when you do it?

talk about double standards.

It's funny how we wait for things to happen...
eg people only clean the fridge when its sunny (?)

doing your homework only when the song has finish playing for the 5th time

these are just some.

there's many more...

but we like to associate certain ''reasons" to doing things.

it's as if we were waiting for all the stars to align in their places before we can do anything at all...

however, the pattern is

we only do this when we don't really want to do that particular task...
hence, our ritual to get the stars or whatever in the proper position or condition

to delay,

to justify what we do not do.

what we choose not to do.

now, it's studying for quiz time

which is also why i'm avoiding the task of looking at slide after slide...

by justifying that i have so much more important things to do
other that study for tomorrow's quiz...

so we'll have to wait till the moon is high, the stars are bright, the temperature is cool, the environment is quiet before anything can even start...

but...reality beckons...

start studying!!!

just a thought

Been reading blogs lately.

It amazes me how brutally honest you can be when writing.

Not that other people are lying,
Rather, other people share stuff that are not that close to heart

Reading the blogs that write your thought straight from your head
where filtering is minimal,
and you finding that although you might have so much in common yet at the same time be so different.
you find that there are other people who think that way.

Suddenly you feel like the world is not filled with people that are....
fill in the blanks
i know what i want to write
but i most certainly won't write it here

So, moving on.

Classes have been as usual
Felt that pre u was much more taxing than this.
should have more to do
should have more mental stimulation in class
yet still expectations fall short


should join more clubs, societies or whatever
too much free time with too little to do.

time will pass as it is a perishable commodity
no matter how we spend it
gotta spend it more meaningfully

No, I'm not thinking of changing the world or such
but my world needs more colors.
time to start looking at the colors that are available
and start adding colors to life.

Colors, pretty or not,
is better than a boring blank canvas.

Rain

It was raining so bad yesterday,
I almost had to swim to my car...

Thankfully, it was one of those days that I actually showed up slightly earlier to get a decent parking place...
Thankfully, I also didn't wait till it stop raining to get to the car...

Seen the pictures on fb where the water was already above the tires...
Poor them...

Nonetheless, staying dry was never an option.
Was drenched when i got into the car..
then the windscreen was so frosted up,
visibility was merely a meter or more...


so, got home cold and wet.
