In a blink of an eye we're already at the end of 2008...with just a few hours left in this year only.
So,before the clock strikes 12, let us all make aspirations for the coming year and hope that they will all come through..reflect and maybe relive the happy memories in this last few moments...
But let us all welcome the year 2009 with a happy heart and dreams anew.
May all your dreams and wishes come through .
From: yours truly ^^

Youth Dhamma Camp--A Seed Of Hope
Recently went to a camp called Youth Dhamma Camp--A Seed Of Hope. The camp was four days three nights in the Dusun Eco Resort. However, do not be fooled by the name resort. The place although has a really nice view with the canopy walk and all, the bath water was freezing. With that kind of water, you won't need to go to the colder countries to experience taking a bath there 'cause the water cold enough to freeze your heart in your chest. Not that I'm complaining since its all part of the experience...
To all going for camps in the future, especially when that camp has jungle walking, remember not to put on your mosquito repellent...why? you ask...well..it seemed to have a reverse effect when i put it on. Just after applying the repellent, 2 mosquito appear es on my arm...was that sheer bad luck or what..Other than that, during the 1 hour jungle walk, the roaches that we saw were barely bigger than the biggest ant around that area...Guess that food is not easy to find in the jungle..all in all, it was certainly an experience that you don't wanna miss, however dirty you may get =D
To those who are normally lazy to move, well...camp will make you move. A lot. I'm guessing that I ran around in camp more than in my one whole month of holiday. It might be tiring, but worth it at the end of the game. Ran from one end to the other back there. And if you were there, you would probably see me barely tagging along behind...Wondering why? well...those in my team were really athlete material..OR...I simply was the one who took little thought for exercise...never mind that topic...hehe...not that important now...
In this camp it wasn't just about playing around...we also have talks that very imformative too. There was a question that was asked anonymously that went like :
" In life we make many choices. But how do we know that the one we made isn't the wrong one? How do we make the right ones? Someone once said that you would have to be contented with not knowing sometimes. So what should we do?"
The speaker who have had many years of experience then answered(not quoting word for word, so don't kill me if I get it a little mixed up..hehe):
"Its true in life we make a lot of choices, sometimes we make a right one, sometimes we make a wrong one, but we all make that choice that seemed to be the best choice at that time and place. So, if we make a right choice then we're lucky. If its the other way, then you'll have to live on still. You might not be happy about it but the choice you have made and cannot be undone, thats why we try our best to live with whatever choices we make. Last but not least, we're all human, so, if you make a wrong choice that you still blame yourself for, forgive yourself. These things do happen."
Indeed the words of a master who known and seen a lot.
Well thats all the highlights from the camp. Until next time ^^v

time and time again
i wonder if time is really a relative quatity
someone said that it is just something that a clock measures...
the concept of time that we hold so dear is it all just a mere illusion of our minds and over imaginative?
really...
all this while..
counting the seconds, minutes and hours...
all these are actually just something we count by using a clock?watch?
apparently,
we really are deluded..
or are we?
well i guess that depends solely on the person who is counting the seconds..
is it a really important part of life or just a quantity that a clock measures?

....
this day pretty much started out like any other,
but who knew this day would bring so much sadness and disappointment...
but even if i knew,
would it really make any difference at all?
watching the rain fall,
i feel my spirits dampen with every drop...
as the wind blew,
the chill in me just got stronger..
knowing doesn't make a difference,
it just makes it harder...
harder to accept the facts and reality that are so cruelly stumbled upon..
harder to make sure i get through this day as any other..
i wish that i really didn't know a thing that i didn't have to
ignorance is really bliss..
knowing too much simply hurts more than just plain not knowing
maybe i'll be spared the next time...
maybe...

just round the corner
signing in is me...sushi
exam is just round d corner but just is not in the mood to study...
if this goes on i'll prob fail my history and chemisrty...
lets hope that i'll get to it soon...
mooncake festival is just 2 days a way but i wonder why people celebrate it...
used to play with lanterns when i was small but the fun faded as i grew...
going 4 duty in summit...hope no case at all
but now all i can is hope and maybe get myself to study...
so lets all hope^^
