Was watching X Factor yesterday...
with the awesome Simon as one of the judges..


Anyways, people like to say that we watch this kinda shows because we secretly wanna watch the people that can't sing...
but if that were true,
people would stop watching after the auditions when every tom, dick and harry give their best shot at it...

yet,
the ratings remain high after that.

because,
people are interested in the dreams of these people who make it through.
they want to see the distance they are willing to go to win.


Especially in this time when the economic is not a bed of roses..
most of them are desperate
so they have to get it or else...

but it is also at this times
that people dare to dream
to think of the better future when the present is bleak
it is hope that keeps them going.

it is also at this time that they have nothing to lose.
so, they have the courage to try and realize their dreams
because failing won't mean anything worse
but winning will changes their entire lives.

in times of desperation do dreams bloom
in times of desperation do people dare to dream
in these times, do people take that step to realize their dreams.


Sometimes, it takes these times to remind us that it's ok to dream

Still in uni despite the fact that there's no class after this..
suppose to be researching assignment...did a bit d..but got sleepy. z.z


so now,here i am writing.

today is psg day.
so we went to wisma n played with colorful stickers that we stuck on each other's back after we finish writing them...
of course, we have to write something nice, so we wrote but only got to read what was other people's backs..

in other words, i dunno what they wrote n stuck to the back of my shirt...
and that's why we're walking around with bits of colorful paper stuck to our back..
other people would probably think that we're crazy psycho students that go around with post-it's on their backs writing god knows what...haha...
cause we're all obviously wearing our psych t-shirt...
therefore, image tarnished??
adding more reason for people to believe that psychology students are a bit not right in the head
(which they also believe is why we studied this in the first place..vicious cycle??)

oh ya..when i get back n read those little pieces of paper,
i'll recognize your handwriting...
so...
u know la =p

After a Sunday Afternoon

I've left this blog alone for a little too long..
But today, I feel like writing something,
so here i am. =)

Today's been a rather lazy Sunday.
Waking up late, making pancakes for lunch,
Just lazing around and enjoying the afternoon.

Doing nothing is an acquired skill.
whether we realize it or not,
we're always up to something.
You know it's true when your head can't stop thinking. Something must go on in there and there seems like no way to stop it.

So, today was one of those rare days when it was relatively blank.
To just enjoy the day for what it is and soak in the sun, enjoy the breeze...

Also, at the same time being really productive by finishing 60% of 112's journal in one go...
making this one of my not-so-last-minute assignments that I've done in quite a long time.
For I confess,
procrastination is one of my greatest flaw...there seems to be more fun racing with the clock to complete something and make sure that it is of a certain quality before the deadline. Or I suppose that it's just an excuse for not doing what I'm supposed to do XD

Hmm...Should write more often. I=  Cause it's fun =)

Some updates.

Assignments are closing on one by one. Midterms are like next week but I'm not feeling it yet...should start studying soon...but I'll probably end up doing it one day before and try to cram everything in one day..hopefully I can or hope that I'll start earlier? sometimes habits are just so hard to get out from...

Also,
it's a really nice feeling when you and old friends meet but your conversations go on as if not a day has past since your last encounter.
it's heartwarming to see that we still care as much
it's really good seeing you again =)
